Condition
This work is in very good and sound condition overall. There is evidence of wear along the edges. There are scattered areas of flaking and intermittent paint loss, most noticeably in the areas of blue pigment. There is craquelure present throughout the work, especially in the blue sections as well as in the upper yellow, red and blue squiggly line element. There is also flaking and raised areas of paint in the joint, painted orange, on the left side of the work. A light dust has settled in some of the crevices.

Catalogue Note
"The gradual change from planar surfaces to more volumetric surfaces is a topological problem, basically the exploration of more intricate or more complicated surfaces to be worked on, i.e. painted on. The expansion of surfaces available to abstraction is what has kept me going."
