Condition

Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the orange tones are deeper and richer and the greens are brighter and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some nicks, chips, scratches and media accretions to the artist's frame. Close inspection reveals some surface dirt that has adhered to the inside of the glass, most noticeably towards the front of the train. Extremely close inspection reveals some minute specks of loss in isolated places to the painted background. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
