Condition

Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly lighter and brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. The canvas has been laid down on a canvas support. Extremely close inspection reveals a few minute specks of loss in isolated places throughout. Very close inspection in raking light reveals some very slight canvas draw to all four corners. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals inpainting along all four edges with some very short and faint associated cracks to the canvas joins in isolated places.
