Condition
Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is lighter and brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some tiny media accretions in the green pigment towards the upper right hand corner and some short fine cracks in isolated places throughout. Close inspection reveals a superficial layer of dust that has adhered to the surface in places. Further very close inspection reveals some compressed impasto peaks and some tiny losses to two impasto peaks; one to the nose of the right most figure and one below the eye of the left most figure. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
