Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is historic framer's tape which covers all four edges and comes slightly onto the front of the work. Very close inspection reveals very fine hairline cracks in isolated places, most notably to the red pigment in the centre of the composition. Extremely close inspection reveals a tiny speck of associated loss to this red pigment. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
