Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant and fails to convey the neon qualities of the pink and orange paint in the original.
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the artist's backing board and undulates slightly. All collaged elements are stable. All cracks, losses and surface irregularities are in keeping with the artist's working process and use of materials. Close inspection reveals some specks of burnishing and oxidation to all four extreme edges of the artist's frame and some very faint scuffs to the glass.
