Description

  • Haut. 46,5 cm, larg. 21 cm, x prof. 22 cm ; height 18 1/2  in., width 8 1/4  in., depth 8 2/3 in.
painted with polychrome daisies and purple foliate sprays on a pale green ground, marked under base with green cypher marks of Nicholas II under the crown and the date 1897

Provenance

The previous owner's grandmother Akulina Jesejeva received this vase as a gift from a Russian Prince, whom she served as housekeeper. Since then the vase has passed forward in Akulina Jevsejeva and her husband Leo Paulow's family, first to their son Viktor Paulow, after the World War II to his daughter and from her to the present owner

Condition

Two very small areas of wear to enamels. Otherwise in very good condition.
