The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition. Both constructions are firm and sound. The gilding is slightly tarnished. The leather of the cushions is in good condition.Ready to display.

Maison Forest was established at 14 rue Pierre-Picard in 1883 and at 31 rue Cambaceres, Paris. The furniture produced by the firm stands out for its high quality gilt-bronze mounts and, futhermore, for its notable ébénisterie and fine decoration.
