A Silver Tea and Coffee service, Sazikov, Moscow, 1861 and 1862
tapering baluster, the body with lobed panels with densely repoussé floral bands, the front and back with circular rocaille cartouches, the domed cover similarly repoussé with mother-of-pearl knobs and flower finial rising from a leafy calyx, flanked by two scroll and acanthus-capped handles, the spreading base on three ball feet, the spout with openwork scroll and acanthus-capped tap and mother-of-pearl palmette finial, with ivorine insulators, marked on the body, foot, cover, finial, and below tap
comprising a coffee pot with ivorine insulators, a tea pot with a hanging bucket and ivorine insulators, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and a tray, Sazikov mark in Cyrillic, assay master Viktor Savinkov, 84 standard
