  • Haut. 45 cm ; Height 21 1/4 in
the circular base embossed with shell frieze, the body embossed with scrolls and decorated with two medallions, one representing a jockey, the other engraved COURSES DE FONTAINEBLEAU/DONNE PAR L'EMPEREUR/MDCCLXIII, horses'head-shaped handles, the cover finial shaped as a sitted putto holding two laurel crowns

Condition

In overall good condition. Needs a better cleaning. Signed DUPONCHEL on footrim. French title mark (Minerva head) visible on cover, foot and under the body.
