Condition

Good overall condition. The polyurethane shade presents with some light surface scratches. The gilt bronze base presents with some light surface scratches and some oxidation stains to the gilt patina (of various sizes - the largest 6 x 5 cm). Surface soiling and remnants of polish, mostly concentrated in the recessed areas of the base. The plastic switch is broken but the lamp does light up when plugged. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
