Good overall condition consistent with age and use. The patinated copper presents with some scattered light scratches - with deeper ones along the tail and the edges of the wings - some instances of wear to the patina and some vert-de-gris traces - concentrated along the recessed areas. The bronze presents with a few small scratches, some tarnishing overall, some wear to the patina on the head and with some vert-de-gris stains on the feet. The glass presents with some soiling, a few stains and some dirt around the head. There is a tiny chip/hole at the bottom of the shade with a few tiny cracks and tiny losses of white finish. It is barely visible when the lamp stands on its feet. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
