Condition
This work is in good condition. The canvas has been strip-lined along all four tacking edges, apparently retaining the original stretcher. There is some scattered faint craquelure. Ultra-violet light reveals some minor strokes of retouching notably in the tail of the large white turkey and scattered along the framing edges; some very faint fluorescence is visible elsewhere in the turkey's body however this appears to correspond to the varnish. The colours are somewhat less yellow-orange overall in reality than in the illustration.
