Condition

Oil on canvas laid down on panel. There is an old crease in the canvas in the upper right and some scattered spots of paint flaking primarily towards the upper-left corner (visible in the illustration). Ultra-violet light reveals some fluorescence which likely corresponds to unevenness in the varnish rather than retouching (such as a spot below the head of the upper adult bull). The work could benefit from a surface clean.
