6 tomes en 3 volumes in-8 (204 x 118 mm). Maroquin citron à long grain, roulettes dorées en encadrement (palmettes, chaînes), dos à nerfs richement orné d'un décor de feuilles de vigne et de lyres, doublure et gardes de soie moirée violette, tranches dorées, chemise et étui ornés de même (Bozerian).Nombreuses rousseurs, dos très légèrement passés. Portrait gravé par Tardieu d'après Pajou fils et 36 figures de Moreau gravées par Delvaux, De Ghendt, Roger, Simonet, Thomas et Trière. Ravissant exemplaire relié par Bozerian. Exemplaire Beraldi, cité par Cohen, sur papier vélin avec deux suites des gravures : eaux fortes pures et avant la lettre. Provenance : Henri Beraldi (ex-libris, ne figure pas dans sa vente). -- Pixerécourt (ex-libris armorié). -- Ex-libris armorié non identifié avec la devise "Dieu pour nous".
