- Voyage pittoresque aux lacs de Thoune, Brienz, Lungern et Sarnen. Zurich, Orell, Fuessli et Compagnie, 1827.
Grand in-folio (456 x 300 mm). Demi-maroquin vert à long grain, dos orné de filets dorés (Reliure de l’époque).Reliure légèrement frottée, coins un peu émoussés. Édition originale illustrée de 12 planches gravées à l'aquatinte, d’après les dessins de Wetzel, dont 6 par Franz Hegi et 4 par Conrad Caspar Rordorf. Exemplaire avec les planches imprimées en noir sur papier gris. Wetzler se forme auprès de Louis Bleuler puis chez Johann Walser, à Herisau, où il travaille pour Gabriel Lory père et fils. Lorsque l’atelier Walser ferme, en 1809, il suit les Lory chez l'éditeur Osterwald à Neuchâtel. Rentré à Zurich en 1810, il ouvre sa propre maison de production. Il est surtout connu pour la série des Voyages pittoresques aux lacs de la Suisse publiée en 14 volumes, de 1819 à 1827, par Orell-Füssli à Zurich en 4 livraisons. Référence : Lonchamp, 3181.
