In-folio (512 x 355 mm). Maroquin vert, filet doré et roulette à froid en encadrement, dos à nerfs orné (Reliure pastiche moderne).La carte, coupée à la cuvette, est contrecollée sur le dernier feuillet. Première édition anglaise de ce recueil publié pour la première fois à Genève en 1787. Elle est illustrée d’une carte et de 12 aquatintes finement coloriées. Toutes les vues, légendées en français, sont signées et datées "Published May 2, 1791 by Tho.s Gowland". Elles représentent notamment la Tour de Turbie, le golf de Saint-Auspice, le château de Saint-André, le Vard, Ponce, le port de Nice, le port de la Ville-Franche, etc. Référence : Abbey, Travel in Aquatint and Lithography, I, 48.
