Maroquin citron, triple filet doré en encadrement, armes dorées au centre des plats, dos à nerfs, compartiments ornés de fleurons et petits fers, roulette intérieure, tranches dorées sur marbrure (Reliure de l’époque).Quelques tâches, coins légèrement frottés. 3 cartes gravées et dépliantes. L'historien français de confession protestante Paul de Rapin-Thoyras (1661-1723) écrivit cette Histoire d'Angleterre après s'être exilé à la suite de la révocation de l'Édit de Nantes. Ravissant exemplaire aux armes de Madame Sophie, fille de Louis XV et de Marie Leszczynska (OHR 2514, fer 5).
