Album in-folio (438 x 300 mm). Maroquin rouge, multiple encadrement de filets dorés, fers rocaille aux angles, dos à nerfs orné, encadrement intérieur de filets dorés et fers rocailles (Rivière). 72 vignettes gravées (77 x 45 mm) légendées, contrecollées sur 4 feuillets de carton coloré. Coiffures et chapeaux extravagants typiques de la mode de la fin du XVIIIe siècle, aux noms les plus surprenants : "Pouf à l'Amériquaine", "Chapeau à la Théodore en cloche", "Pouf à la Colinette", "Demi-bonnet à l’Éventail Chinois", etc. Provenance : Sir David Lionel Goldsmid-Stern-Salomons, second Baronet, of Broomhill, Tunbridge Wells (ex-libris armorié).
