Une page oblongue in-4 (235 x 310 mm), papier à 12 portées. Signée "G. Meyerbeer". Encre brune. Page d'un album de musique. Partition pour piano sur trois systèmes, marqué "Andantino quasi Allegretto", comprenant dix mesures à 9/8, en mi bémol majeur.Rousseurs. Feuillet monté aux coins sur une feuille de papier. Envoi autographe signé : "Pour l'Album de Monsieur E. Dunant", en haut à droite. Meyerbeer a écrit sa cantate Nice à Stéphanie en 1857 pour célébrer l'anniversaire de Stéphanie de Beauharnais (1789-1860), grande-duchesse de Bade et fille adoptive de Napoléon Ier et de l'impératrice Joséphine. La cantate a été exécutée à Nice, chez la duchesse de Sagan, le 26 décembre 1857 et publiée par Brandus à Paris en 1858. Cette édition est rare et nous n'avons trouvé aucun autre exemplaire de cette édition hormis celui conservé la Bibliothèque nationale de France. Autograph musical albumleaf of “Ritournelle de la Cantata Nice à Stephanie", signed ("G. Meyerbeer").1 page, oblong 4to (c.23.5 x 31cm), 12-stave paper, verso blank, no place or date, [c.1857-1860], foxing, mounted at the corners onto a later sheet of paper inscribed by the composer "Pour l’Album de Monsieur E. Dunant”, notated for piano on three systems in brown ink, marked "Andantino quasi Allegretto" over the start of the music, comprising ten bars in 9/8 metre, in E-flat major   Meyerbeer wrote the cantata Nice à Stephanie in 1857 to celebrate the birthday of Stéphanie de Beauharnais (1789-1860), the adopted daughter of Napoléon I and the Empress Joséphine, a French Princess and Grande-duchesse de Bade.  The cantata was performed at Nice on 26 December 1857 and published by Brandus of Paris in 1858, but is rare; we have not traced copies of the edition outside the Bibliothèque nationale.
