Maroquin rouge très élégamment orné d'une belle roulette d'encadrement dorée et d'une chaînette dorée avec filet doré entrelacé, dos à 10 nerfs plats orné de filets et fleurons dorés, roulette dorée intérieure, tranches dorées (Gosselin, avec son étiquette).Petites restaurations aux mors, mors inférieur du tome I fragile, quelques pâles rousseurs marginales. Édition tirée à 50 exemplaires sur grand papier. Dans une élégante reliure de Gosselin. Belle édition bilingue, avec la traduction de La Grange en regard du texte latin. Un des 50 exemplaires sur grand papier vélin, imprimé en 3 volumes.Elle est illustrée d'un frontispice et de 6 figures par Monnet, gravés par Choffard, Dambrun, Delignon, De Ghendt et Lingée, avant la lettre.
