Maroquin havane à long grain, encadrement à froid et encadrement intérieur doré, armes poussées au centre, dos orné de fers dorés et à froid, roulette intérieure, tranches dorées (Simier R. du roi). Reliure légèrement frottée. Édition originale de ce bel album composé d’un titre gravé par Askey, de 60 vues gravées sur cuivre par Edward Finden, Charles Heath, John Rolfe... d'après les dessins exécutés sur place par le capitaine Robert Batty, de 4 plans et d’une vignette (port de Calais). Les planches, accompagnées d’un texte en français et en anglais, représentent essentiellement les monuments parisiens. Bel exemplaire aux armes de Marie-Caroline de Bourbon-Sicile, duchesse de Berry, épouse du second fils de Charles X (OHR 2554). Provenance : Charles Tennant (ex- libris armorié).
