Condition

The canvas is not lined and is slightly loose. The surface is a bit dirty. There is an uneven varnish with some superficial dirt ingrained in places, preventing UV light from fully penetrating, however examination under UV light appears to reveal a few dots of retouching along the extreme edges. There are some lines of stable craquellure in places and a few scattered fly spots. There is some frame abrasion with slight discolouration along the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
