Description

  • ruyi head 12 cm, 4 3/4  in., overall height 36.5 cm, 14 3/8  in.
formed of a celadon jade plaque inset in a spinach-green jade lingzhi frame, finely carved in low relief with a caparisoned elephant carrying a flower basket, standing among swirling clouds with four bats fluttering by, further mounted as a table screen 

Condition

The plaque and frame are in overall good condition. There are some light scratches and a small pit to the top of the green jade frame, possibly with some black in fill, some expected insignificant bruise or nicks along the edges.
