Description

  • 11 cm, 4 3/8  in.
each cover finely carved with the head turned slightly to the side, the feathers, eyes and beaks finely picked out, seated on millet, the box with a double gourd-shaped aperture, pierced wood stands

Condition

There are expected small chips to the fragile extremities, some lightly polished, including a polished chip to the one side of one cover measuring approx. 1.9 cm. Both covers appear to have been touched up along the tips of the tails.
