  • 28 cm, 11 in.
the bodhisattva depicted standing and carrying a child, wearing voluminous wide-sleeved robes, a beaded necklace suspended to her right wrist, the child clutching a lotus spray, the ivory patinated to a warm golden-brown colour

Condition

There are some old chips and small repairs, including an old chip to the back of her head and to her right shoulder, the child right hand is likely to be a later replacement. There are some further surface wear and expected age cracks as visible on the photo but overall the figure is in good condition.
