This rare porcelain bottle closely relates to a set of three figures with similar modelling and treatment of the robes, illustrated in Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles: The Mary and George Bloch Collection, vol. 6, Hong Kong, 2007, nos 1226, 1227 and 1228, and sold in these rooms, 27th May 2013, lot 268.

Condition

There is restoration where the figure is holding the basket. Minor nicks to extremities.
