Catalogue Note

It is extremely rare to find a glass snuff bottle with a Qianlong seal mark, and it is difficult to give an unequivocal attribution, with no comparable examples in the bottles from the Qing court collection preserved in Beijing and Taipei. The bottle itself is clearly a typical 18th century example.
