Condition

There are two small hairlines at the neck and minor nicks to the extremities of the carving.

Catalogue Note

A closely related Yangzhou glass snuff bottle of similar colour scheme, but decorated with Buddhist lions, illustrated in Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles: The Mary and George Bloch Collection, vol. 5, Hong Kong, 2002, no. 1013, was sold in these rooms, 1st June 2015, lot 155.
