Description

  • 9.8 to 17.4 cm, 3 7/8  to 6 7/8  in.
all robustly potted, the first with an everted rim, applied with a 'hare's fur' glaze; the second typically decorated with a leaf inset in the black glaze; the junyao bowl with deep rounded sides, applied with a lavender-blue glaze thinning to a mushroom tone at the rim 

Condition

Leaf bowl - good condition with typical glaze pull and pinholes and a 0.4x 0.2cm burst bubble covered with glaze underneath mouth rim on the outside. Jian bowl - There are a few hairline cracks running down from the rim and up across to another side (around 1/3 of the rim) with 2 or 3 pieces possibly off and restuck, and associated flakes and chips filled. Junyao bowl - There is a restored/touched up rectangular area to the rim measuring approx. 3.5 x 4 x 4 cm with an associated overspray measuring approx. 9 x 10 cm. Glaze surface with typical glaze crackles.
