  • 11.5 cm, 4 1/2  in.
seated in vajraparyankasana on a double-lotus base with the hands folded in dhyanamudra, the hair enamelled blue and partially falling over the shoulders, the face and body applied with gilt enamel

Condition

The Amitayus is in overall good condition. There is some minute retouching ‎to the gilding and possible small repair showing under UV to one of the crown's prong and billowing veil on the side of the head. The turquoise enamelled plug that was originally on the underside and immortality vase held in the hands are now missing.
