carved standing and wearing a scholar's hat and voluminous robes, his mouth picked out in red pigment, the figure with traces of gold paint

Condition
There are some old chips and age cracks as visible on the catalogue photo, including a chip to the figure left arm and robe folds with a section missing, as well as chips to the bottom right and the bottom right edge of the robe folds, as well as to his hairs and veil wrapping his shoulders on the reverse, all to be expected and consistent with age. The patina is good.
