carved seated in vajraparyankasana on a spinach-green jade double lotus throne, his hands held in dhyanamudra, wearing voluminous robes opening at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the serene expression framed by a pair of pendulous earlobes, the gilt-bronze stand cast with a lotus base, the flame-shaped mandorla decorated with five bats wreathed in scrolling clouds against a stippled ground, surrounded by a feathery floral border
Condition
Jade figure in good condition, green jade base with minute bruises and general surface wear, the mandorla with oxidisation and minor rubbing to the gilding.
