  • w. 21.5 cm, 8 1/2  in.
of cylindrical form, the thick wood walls inscribed with a poem in praise of lotus, signed Rangzhi Wu Xizai, the patina of a rich variegated golden-brown colour

Condition

The brushpot is in good overall condition. There are typical minor nicks to the edges and general surface wear, including an approx. 1.2 by 0.3 cm flake to the exterior. There are expected age cracks and the base plug has been stabilised to the pot.
