Description
- 21.6 cm, 8 1/2 in.
resting on a slightly recessed base, finely painted with a continuous landscape scene detailed with three figures seated on a rocky promontory, apocryphal Yongzheng mark
Condition
There is a small shallow chip to the foot rim (approx. 0.6 by 0.3 cm) and a hair line crack to the rim extending on the interior and exterior (approx. 5cm). There are few expected specks and minor iron spots in the glaze. Otherwise the jardiniere is in good condition. The painting is particularly nice and attractive with the clever use of green oxide and red to enhance the decorations.
