Description

  • 12.3 and 10 cm, 4 7/8  and 4 in.
the bowl with a conical body rising to a shallow groove at the mouth; the ewer with a globular body, applied with a black glaze suffused with 'oil spots'

Condition

Bowl: Overall good condition with firing flaws, including misfiring to one side of the exterior and glaze pools at the foot. Ewer: As visible in the catalogue photo, the tip of the spout has been chipped and retouched with gold paint. There are flakes to the unglazed foot and glaze wear to the mouthrim and the handle. Original firing imperfections such as pinholes.
