modelled in the round as a recumbent elephant with an elongated trunk, wood stand

Tai Sing Fine Antiques Ltd, Hong Kong, 11th August 2001.

Condition

The trunk has been broken and professionally restored with the original piece. The underside of one leg has an insignificant glaze flake and there are some original flaws, including a firing line to its tail.
