Description

  • Height 7 3/8  in., 18.8 cm
the cylindrical body with thick straight sides, the base with a central plug, the wood with a lively surface of rich amber hues and darker brown tones within and around the burled knots, the grain tight and flecked with characteristic short golden streaks

Condition

The brushpot is in overall good condition, but with three age cracks to the base, and minor expected wear to the base including tiny nicks to its edge. Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
