Description

  • Length 4 3/8  in., 11.2 cm
the flat stone carved as a sinuous dragon-fish, the long body forming an S-curve with the chin tucked above the arced torso, the tail splitting into two fins coiling in opposite directions and each terminating in a bifurcated tip, incised on both sides with C-curls, the belly pierced with a small aperture

Condition

The pendant is in good overall condition with expected wear and some erosion along the edges. There is a small polished down chip to crest on the top of the head and the erosion is most noticeable along the edges of the tail. As expected, the surface has been cleaned and polished.
