- 44.5 cm, 17 1/2 in.
modelled after an archaic bronze shape, carved in low relief with stylised taotie masks reserved against a leiwen ground, framed above and below with overlapping cicada lappets, applied overall with an even opaque glaze pooling at the recesses, the base with a Yongzheng mark, stand
Condition
The vase is in good overall condition with a tiny chip to the rim. There are expected firing imperfections, including a bodyline to the rim, crackles and kiln frits to the foot.
