  • overall h. 11.8 cm, 4 5/8  in.
of barrel shape, freely painted to the flat top with a boy riding a qilin flanked by another two waving flags, the sides similarly decorated with further boys at play in a fenced garden, the rims encircled by bands of raised bosses

Condition

Overall good condition with minute flakes especially to the raised bosses and the unglazed rims. Original firing flaws including a firing line to the inside of the cover.
