Description

  • 42.5 cm, 16 3/4  in.
of globular form, surmounted by a short waisted neck, boldly painted around the exterior in shades of cobalt blue with scrolling lotuses, between a band of petals around the base and a classic scroll on the rim

Condition

There is some typical fritting at the rim, including sections where it has been possibly slightly ground. Some surface scratches around the body and typical firing imperfections including glaze gaps and iron spots. There are a couple of old shallow chips, there is an old chip to the foot rim.
