Description

  • h. 26.3 cm, 10 3/8  in.
of globular form, rising from three cabriole legs and surmounted by a waisted neck and galleried rim, flanked by a pair of upright curved handles, decorated around the body with scrolling lotus, below a band of keyfret extending to the side of the handles and on the rim, the legs each terminating to moulded rosace motifs

Condition

The incense burner is in overall good condition. There is some shrinkage in the glaze across the interior of one handle and a minute glaze gap along the outer edge of the same handle, a couple of insignificant pinholes or iron spots in areas buy overall the condition is very good.
