Description

  • 37 cm, 14 5/8  in.
of quadrangular section, flanked by ruyi-shaped loop handles, painted with a central register of scrolling lotus below leafy sprays of peony encircling the shoulder and stiff leaves around the neck, the rim bordered by keyfret and trefoil bands and the foot skirted by a lappet band and keyfret

Condition

The vase is in overall good condition, there is a small natural original shrinkage to the glaze in the rim as well as burst air bubble and a small 3mm bruise to the interior rim. There are some expected surface scratches in soiling to the glaze.
