Description

  • 26.7 cm, 10 1/2  in.
each with a flattened baluster body rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck with galleried rim, the exterior ornately carved in high relief and openwork with a swooping phoenix looking toward another bird standing amidst meandering peony branches, the domed cover with a finial reticulated with further flowering peonies, the stone of an even white tone, wood stands

Condition

Good overall condition with minor bruises and chips to the fragile extremities, especially to the edges of the openwork floral and foliage carvings, with tiny sections possibly lightly polished. There are natural flaws to the stones.
