depicted reclining on a gnarled armrest, dressed in an ample falling robe with a bat resting on his knee, his face with bushy brows and downcast eyes set in a meditative expression

Condition

The carving is in overall good condition, there are some expected light pitting and all nicks along the edges, all consistent with age.
