R. K. Laxman was part of an illustrious Chennai based family that also includes award winning novelist R. K. Narayan. Laxman was known throughout India as an iconic humourist and cartoonist whose work featured in the daily pages of the Times of India for over fifty years.

Condition
Untitled: A noticeable brown stain is visible to the left of the crucifix and further small stains and spots of foxing are present throughout, consistent with age and medium. Small creases are present, particularly in the lower left corner. On the way to Border: Minor creases, minute spots of foxing and yellowing to the paper are visible. Both works are in good overall condition for their age, as viewed. Please note both these works have not been inspected outside the frames.
