Two Qajar gold and enamelled plaques, one signed Mirza Baqir and the other with Mother and Child, Persia, 19th century
the square panel decorated in repoussé motifs and polychrome enamels with a central cartouche depicting a mother and child flanked by a female and winged attendant beneath calligraphic signature, framed by oval floral panels; the other of oval form in polychrome enamels depicting a mother and child (most probably the Madonna and Child) in a garden with a small deer at their feet, later gold frame mounted with diamonds, gold suspension loop and chain
