Description

  • 99cm. 
the silver hilt, quillons and scabbard with chased decoration of floral stems, set with rubies, emeralds and diamonds, reverse of hilt with inscription and figure at head, with seventeenth century ridged European blade with false edge and fullers, suspension rings on scabbard and openwork motif at chape, stamped with tughras and maker's marks

Condition

Very few gemstones and rivets missing on the hilt and on scabbard, the blade with small patches of oxidisation, as viewed.
