Description

  • 11.3cm. height
carved in typical form, set with foil-backed colourful gemstones in kundan settings in floral design

Provenance

Family of Hari Singh Nalwa (1791-1837), by descent.

Condition

The jade appears to have a break on one side with associated discoloration, the settings designed above, some of the stones later replacements, few small cracks in gemstones and oxidisation to foiling, as viewed.
